Fished most of the week last week on the upper lakes of the Lake Winnebago System. We found good quality fish with most in the low 20" range. I spent all my time this week trolling crank baits. The best baits were shallow shad raps and rapala originals. Most of the fish we caught were in shallower water around the 3-5 foot range. We mostly trolled around 1.5 mph.
We also caught a dandy 27.5 incher on lake butte des mort on a rapala original.
If anyone's looking for a report throughout the next week, call for the walleye hunter on channel 68.
