As the season changes from summer to fall the bite is in a bit of a transition period. The bite on both Lake Winnebago and Green Bay has been very sporadic. Some days have provided excellent opportunities to pull in great catches and others have been a bit tougher.
One thing is for sure there have been some really nice walleyes being caught out on Green Bay. We have been locating these fish in 25-35 fow and presenting flicker shad crank baits behind lead core line.
As we move into fall look for the action to really pick up on both the Fox and Wolf Rivers as well as the Bay of Green Bay.
