I finally got out on the water for the first time today!
Me and a friend fished on the Fox river in De Pere for a while this afternoon. We caught around 25 walleye. Most of the fish were caught drifting and vertical jigging. Fathead minnows worked well, however twister tails also took some fish. We also caught fish anchored, casting jigs and pulling them back against the current.
Great first day on the water! Hopefully it was just a small taste of whats ahead.
