We were fishing a tournament up on green bay this weekend so I spent most of my time up there this week. Early in the week we caught good numbers of walleye in university bay trolling shallow crank baits near shore. However harsh winds Thursday, Friday, and Saturday made fishing out there tough.
One of the windy days we trolled around up in the Fox River and I was pleasantly surprised by the good number of walleyes that were still in the river. We caught them trolling shallow baits as well.
We ended up finishing around 10th place in the tournament which was on Sunday. We caught all our fish in University Bay.
We also landed this nice musky during prefishing. We didn't have a tape measure long enough, but we guessed it was around 45 inches.
