I haven't been able to fish quite as much over the last few weeks as I would have liked, but we still have been on some fish. Numbers are still down for me, but size seems to be up. We've pulled in several fish over 24 inches in the past couple weeks.
Almost all the fishing I have been doing is trolling the mud with crawler harnesses. #5 hammered silver blades have been the most solid producers with purple coming in a close second. I have been running snap weights 15-25 feet behind the boards to get the harnesses down to the fish, which are usually around 10 feet down.
We also made a new video explaining how to troll crawler harnesses for walleye, you can check it out at... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kREuh_fqJ3A
I should be out everyday this upcoming week... good luck out there!
