The bite out on Lake Winnebago remained pretty slow this week and some nasty weather kept us off the water a couple days. Lately we've been happy if we can pull in a half dozen walleye a day.
The fish we've been catching have been falling victim to a variety of different techniques. Jigging the reefs with a jig and half crawler, trolling with cranks, and trolling with crawler harnesses have all given up a few fish. The walleye are definitely scattered right now. No one spot or technique seems to be the hot ticket.
Good luck out there.
