Unfortunately I didn't make it out to Winnebago at all again this week, however I have heard it has been fairly slow fishing.
We did fish the upper lakes for pike nearly everyday. Had excellent catches this week for both numbers of fish and size. We had success on the same set ups as before. Tip ups with large golden shiners set 6-10 inches off the bottom. We fished mostly shallow flats around 2-5 feet deep with little to no weed cover. We found schools of little perch in these areas and I believe that's why the big pike were there too.
Only a few more weeks until open water!
Good luck out there to everyone!
