The walleye have been biting hard on pretty much every part of the system the last few days.
The bite on lake poygan is still going good if you're willing to experiment a little. Some days cranks have been hot and other days harnesses have been the ticket so try both. The hot cranks have been flicker shads in varying colors depending on the day. Color for the harness blades hasn't seemed to matter much but the #5 Colorado blades have been working.
The mud bite on Winnebago is definitely in full swing. We caught numbers of large walleye out of Oshkosh and on the north end out of Menasha. We have been catching these fish on a mix of reef runners and shad raps.
The picture is of a dandy 26 incher we caught this morning.
