We spent the entire week this week fishing the Fox River and have been doing quite well. We have had double digit catches of walleye every trip. There is virtually no current on the river right now and the water is ultra clear. The clear water has definitely making the bite tougher than usual. All our fish have been caught either anchoring or slowly maneuvering around with the bow mount and making long casts to the fish. We have been using 1/8 ounce jigs tipped with a minnow. Hot depths have ranged from day to day, but we haven't caught a fish in water shallower than 9 feet.
Hopefully we will get a little bit of rain soon to increase the current and dirty up the water a bit.
Good luck out there!
