
I ended up staying home the first half of this week due to rain and snow, but did get out these last four days.
The bite on the Fox River has slowed substantially, but there are still some fish around if you're willing to be patient. We have been taking fish on that river vertical jigging with jigs tipped with minnows or zip lures.
In the last few days the whitebass and walleye bite has started to heat up on the Upper Lakes of the Winnebago system. The majority of those fish have been taken trolling crank baits.
