I spent my entire week this week fishing Lake Poygan and the lower stretches of the Wolf River. We were able to find some very nice walleye out on Lake Poygan. All the fish we caught on Poygan were caught trolling the shallow areas of the lake in around 3 feet of water. The fish were hitting a mix of cranks and harnesses.
The bite on the River was very hot, but the fish up there are mostly in the 12-14 inch range. The fish we caught were taken on either jigs tipped with minnows or jigs tipped with crawlers.
