Fishing Report for June 6th, 2010

The action out on Lake Winnebago the past few weeks has been very good, but hard to predict. We have had great catches using a wide variety of techniques. The most consistent fish producer has been trolling the mud flats. The north central region of the lake is where I have found my best action. I have tried both crank baits and crawler harnesses. The crank baits have severely outproduced the harnesses. I have had my best luck with #5 flicker shads, #5 shad raps, and small walley divers. Perch colored lures have been the hot ticket.

We have also had good action fishing some of the west shore reefs. The best presentation has been a small jig tipped with either a leech or a crawler.
