Fishing Report for March 27th, 2011

Fishing out on the Fox River was temporarily halted early this week due to a winter storm that dropped 17 inches of snow on the Green Bay area. In the wake of this storm the area was left with frigged temperatures the rest of the week. With daily highs barely reaching the freezing point the water temps out on the Fox plummeted into the low 30's.

These wintry conditions have made the fishing slow and miserable. Today at the end of the week the bite is finally showing signs of picking up with a 25 fish catch this morning. Our technique has been drifting and vertical jigging with jigs and live minnows.
