FIshing Report for March 4th 2011

With the warming temperatures and increased snowfall many of the local rivers are starting to thaw out. The Fox River in Depere and Green Bay is mostly open now, with a lot of ice still holding onto the shorelines. It is possible to launch a boat at the mouth of the river but ice jams prevent traveling too far upstream.

There is more warmth and rain in the local forecast so I would guess the river will be clear of ice by next weekend!
